Frequently Asked Questions

Can a hail damage claim increase my insurance rates?

No- it is illegal for insurance companies to do that in Colorado. Many Denver Auto Hail Repair customers are initially hesitant to get the hail damage to their vehicles repaired because they think their insurance rates will increase. However, your comprehensive auto policy covers the damage incurred by “Acts of God”, such as hail, wind, tornadoes, and other natural disasters.

What do you mean by $0 out of pocket?

Denver Auto Hail Repair is dedicated to providing the best service we can to our customers- and that means making sure your wallet is taken care of as well. As a customer of Denver Auto Hail Repair, your deductible will be waived up to $500 and we'll even cover your rental car if your insurance won't. We want you to be able to maintain your lifestyle while we restore value to your car.

What if I've already filed a claim and/or received an estimate from my insurance company?

Denver Auto Hail Repair works with your insurance company to ensure that your car is repaired to the pre-storm value. If you have filed a claim already, we will look over the claim and assess if there is any damage they may have missed in their initial estimate, and we will work directly with your insurance company to ensure that all damage is documented and fixed.

How does Paintless Dent Repair work?

The underside of the hail damaged panels, which are accessed through a variety of points on each vehicle, are massaged and flexed until the panels return to their original shape, rather than covering the dents and dings up with filler and paint. This process is known as “paintless dent repair” or “paintless dent removal”, and is commonly referred to as PDR.

PDR VS Conventional Repair- what's the difference?

Your vehicle’s factory paint job, which is the best finish it will ever have, is preserved through paintless dent repair. Unlike traditional methods, PDR does not involve sanding, filler or mismatched paint. Unlike traditional vehicle methods, PDR does not involve cutting out and replacing OEM parts with non-OEM parts or misalignment.

How can you waive my deductible? Is that legal?

It's simple! When the insurance company assesses the damage on your car, they take away the amount of your deductible and write a check for the remainder of the damages. We take that check and fix your car for that amount and simply don't collect the deductible amount from you. Consider it a Denver Auto Hail Repair discount for being our customer.
